Rutgers Cooperative Extension, a vital part of this community, has a strong presence in Gloucester County. Established in 1917, the Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station has consistently served as a resource for residents. Both versions will be accepted, allowing members to choose the record-keeping style that best suits them. The Gloucester County Fair is a family-friendly event. A $10 donation per carload allows you to enter as often as you like throughout the four days of family-friendly entertainment. Over 20,000 people from the region are expected to visit the fair.
The fair provides a wealth of activities including community events, and exhibits. Project exhibits include fairs, shows, community events, etc. All project exhibits listed should be for projects in this area only. The deadline for submissions for certain events is Friday, May 16, 2025.

A recent event, the Mega Job Fair & Resource Event, brought together potential employers and job seekers at Rowan College of South Jersey Gymnasium, 1400 Tanyard Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080 on Friday, March 22, 2024.
The 4-H program provides opportunities for skill development, from public speaking and leadership to citizenship and community involvement. The program is free of charge to youth in Gloucester County, regardless of race, religion, age, or disability.
The fair includes various county, regional, state, and national project exhibits. Visitors can also view the accomplishments of 4-H children and other agricultural exhibits.

The 41st annual Gloucester County Fair was held in August 2011 at Ark Park. More than 4,000 visitors attended the five days of that years fair and carnival, which sadly turned out to be the last year for the gloucester county fair.
